Alyssa Marie Lamontagne-Owens (A.M.L. Owens) is a writer, photographer, and thinker living in Mesa, Arizona.

Born into a military household in Canada, Alyssa spent her formative years in a remote cabin in Lanark County, Ontario before moving to a nearby small town. She excelled academically and theatrically and pursued her Bachelor of Arts at Columbia University in New York City.

At Columbia, Alyssa concentrated in Philosophy and Creative Writing and wrote, directed, acted in and stage-managed multiple productions throughout her time in NYC.

In addition to her artistic pursuits, Alyssa has ten years of experience in technology and operations management. She is currently actively civically engaged.
